Squeezing the Most Out of the Rest of Your Summer in Green Lake
Where did this summer go? (Yah, I know, we say that every year!) Here’s a few ideas to help you enjoy those last moments of summer… Green Lake style.
Grab a burger and hang out on the Green Lake beach or grass
Teddy’s Bigger Burgers has a new menu that includes new burgers like the Slaw Daddy ( Coleslaw, Bacon and Swiss), Pulled Pork Sandwich, a Salmon Burger and a few other things that caught our eye like Umami Fries (a new Hawaiian creation featuring Furikake). Beach picnic anyone?
Hang out IN the water
All of Seattle Parks public outdoor wading pools, beaches and spray parks close on September 8 for the season. So head over to the spray park or the west or east Green Lake swimming areas.
Hang out ON the water
Rent a stand up paddle board, kayak, canoe, pedal boat or sail boat from Green Lake Boat Rentals before they close in September. (Timing TBD)
Try a little golf
The Green Lake Pitch and Putt is open until the end of October, so you have a little time, but isn’t it so much more fun in the sun?
