Shelter Lounge is Coming to Green Lake
Wonder what’s going in the old Baskin and Robbins location on Green Lake Drive? Thanks to a tip from our friends at Roosiehood we discovered that Shelter Lounge will be taking the space.
Shelter Lounge co-owner Kevin Carlson says, “the architecture is going to be very similar to the Ballard location with lots of wood and stone. There will be more fire elements and our walls will be able to open up to the lake creating an outdoor feel.”
The food menu will be more expansive, says Carlson and will be designed with neighborhood and families in mind. Beer will still be a focal point with 16-20 beers on tap featuring local breweries.
According to the construction permits, Shelter Lounge will be adding onto the current building that sits at that location.
Carlson said they are aiming to have the project completed by the end of the year.
