Friday, May 16:
Celebrate Bike to Work Day with Gregg’s Cycles, who will be hosting a Bike to Work table at the intersection of Woodlawn and Ravenna that will be helping to power up commuters on their way into to work.
Saturday, May 17:
Friends of Green Lake will be hosting a shoreline restoration work party this 9 a.m. – noon. Come help get rid Green Lake’s shoreline of invasive plant species.
Garden tools will be provided. Bring your closed toed shoes and long sleeves. Meet at the Beach side of the Bathhouse Theatre at 9 a.m. For more information, go to the Friends of Green Lake’s Facebook page.

Mockingbird Books is hosting a Young Artist Series 11:30am – 2:00pm
Audrey Myrosh presents the Young Artist series; This four week Young Artist series is an introduction for kids into the world of art, art history, and to the observation of their creative world. Separate classes available to fit all needs (Ages 2-5 from 11:30am-12pm; Ages 6-10 from 12-1pm or 1-2pm.) Classes are $5 (age 2-5) and $15 each (age 6-12,) with a discount for multiple sessions.
