Yep, it’s Father’s Day this weekend. And since we know you still don’t know what to get him, we’ve assembled an ideal itinerary for a special day with Dad.

If your dad’s a golfer, start your day out at the Green Lake Pitch & Putt near Woodland Park. It’s inexpensive and takes only a few hours to get through. Just enough time for Dad to teach you his patented secret putting move.

Then, head over to Burgundian in Tangletown for brunch. By the time he’s finished his chicken & waffles and an IPA or two, he’ll have totally forgotten that you cheated on the last hole during golf.

Next, keep the party going by popping up to Uber for one more beer from their huge bottle list and treat Dad to a growler to go. For fun, ask the bartender how often the bar gets calls from people looking for a cab. Seriously.

If you can still stand or, if your dad isn’t big on beer, swing back towards the lake to drop a line in for a little while, rent a canoe or paddleboat, or just take a stroll through the park. By the end of the day your dad will feel appreciated and, with any luck, you’ll have a few more funny college stories to tease him about at Thanksgiving.
