This month in Green Lake (and surrounding neighborhood) events: a Phinney Ridge “Beerzilla” fest, an after hours wine party at Woodland Park Zoo, a brewmasters dinner at Latona Pub, eco-friendly celebrations in Roosevelt and men being men at Road Runner Sports. Need we say more?


Beerzilla: The King of Summer Beer Taste

About: The Phinney Neighborhood Association’s annual summer beer taste – “Beerzilla” – hits the neighborhood this Saturday! Beer taste attendees can sample microbrews from 26 Northwest breweries, including some special brews made specifically for the occasion. Woodland Park Zoo’s Tasting Flight Wine Event

Where: Woodland Park Zoo’s North Meadow, 601 N. 59th St.

 About: Leave the kids at home and uncork some of the Northwest’s finest boutique wines at Woodland Park Zoo after hours. Winemakers will be on hand to answer questions and give tips to make the most of your tasting experiences.
