Summertime is in full swing in Greenlake! The weather’s slated to be gorgeous, so grab a cup of joe from Bauhaus and get going to some of the awesome things going on in the area this weekend.

As we’ve already mentioned, the Seafair Milk Carton Derby kicks off bright and early on Saturday morning. Whether you’re going to be a cheering spectator or an active participant (you can register until Thursday at 9pm!), it’s guaranteed to be a blast. Check out the full calendar of events here.

Pure Barre Green Lake will be the latest Green Lake Village spot to open this weekend. If you’re not familiar with barre workouts, the classes utilize a ballet barre and feature movements designed for strengthening and stretching. But don’t take my word for it, try it out for yourself during one of the free classes they’re offering Grand Opening weekend. Get all the details on their Facebook page.

After an exhausting weekend racing your milk carton boat and working out on the barre, support the Seattle Public Theater’s Youth Program by catching a performance of Don Quixote. Get all of the showtimes, and a list of the performances planned for the rest of the summer, here.
