Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt Now Open at Green Lake Village
Green Lakers, hold on tight. Summer is not over yet. We repeat: summer is not over yet.
Over this past weekend when temperatures neared 90 degrees, Menchie’s Yogurt quietly opened its doors as the sixth business to open in Green Lake Village this year.
For those of you who are familiar with Menchie’s (there’s six Seattle locations, including University Village), the new Green Lake shop will look quite familiar. The shiny, brightly painted tiled walls beckon you to the self-serve station, where nearly a dozen rotating yogurt flavors wait for you to choose from. Menchie’s offers non-fat, low carb, non-dairy, no sugar added, kosher and gluten-free soft serve options. The latest flavor to roll-out in their national chains? Oreo two ways – just the creme or just the cookie. Don’t worry, there’s free samples.
The toppings bar offers more than 70 rotating toppings ranging from granola and fresh fruit to sour gummy worms and Reeses Pieces. You can be as ambitious as you’d like, just know the weight of your cup dictates the price tag.
Green Lake’s Menchie’s is open seven days a week, Monday-Saturday 11am-11pm and Sunday 11am-10pm. The storefront is located at 424 NE 71st Street, directly across from the entrance to PCC. You can’t miss the hot pink and lime swirl. For more information, visit www.menchies.com or call (206) 510-3883.
