Greenlakers, it’s hard for us to admit summer is nearly over. But as we count down the final days (17 days, if you were wondering), The Seattle Times wants to keep the season alive through images.

To celebrate this past summer, The Seattle Times is hosting a reader photo contest with pictures from your favorite trips this summer. It can be anything – a scenic shot or something unusual and unique. It can be from anywhere you went on vacation, travels abroad or even a stay-cation here at Green Lake. Maybe a kayaking adventure or the first time you attempted stand-up paddle boarding on the lake? Or when you played some music on good ‘ol PianoBot and Friends or simply had a fun picnic in the park

Okay, we’re being a bit sentimental here.

The Seattle Times will publish your photos in their online gallery, and a handful of images will be selected in to appear in The Seattle Times print edition later this month. What’s more, the person with the winning photo will win a coffee date with NWTraveler Editor Kristin Jackson, travel guru and trip planning extraordinaire.

The deadline for photo submissions is Monday, September 15. For more information, visit the website here.
