Green Lake Branch Library Program Offers Bikes for Books
The Green Lake Branch Library is hosting a “Bikes for Books” reading program that runs through December 13.
Here’s how it works: First, second and third graders are invited to read books for a chance to win a bike. Participants can enter their names (at the Green Lake Branch) once for every ten books read between October 1 and December 13.
On Saturday, December 13 at 11:30 a.m., the Green Lake Branch will hold a drawing where one girl and one boy will each win a bike, helmet and bike lock.
Library fine print: Winners must be present to collect their prizes. All participants will receive certificates of accomplishment. The Bikes for Books reading program is sponsored by Masonic Lodge #149 in Green Lake.
