Himalayan Sherpa House Opens in Tangletown
Ever try a momo? Now’s your chance. Himalayan Sherpa House just opened in the former Eva space in Tangletown on North 56th St.
And word on the street (thank you Eater) is that chef Jangbu Sherpa has climbed Mt. Everest 10 times without oxygen!
The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner most days with daily lunch specials for $8. Happy hour everyday from 5 to 7 p.m. and features draft beer for $3.
And in case you are still wondering what a momo is – think of it as a dumpling filled with several choice of toppings from meat to veggies. Or, better yet, just check out the menu, which includes a range of Nepalese, Tibetan and Indian food.
