Rick Moranis Film Series at Greenwood Branch Library

So it’s not Green Lake, but it’s close and since Rick Morains is the star, well, we had to post this! The Greenwood Branch Library will host a Rick Moraines film series throughout June and will include:

Thursday, June 4 – “Strange Brew” (PG). A 1983 comedy with two brothers who just wanted free beer but end up trying to stop a brewer from taking over the world with mind-controlling chemicals.

Thursday, June 11 – “Ghostbusters” (PG). A 1984 cult classic set in New York City about three paranormal investigators who catch ghosts.

Thursday, June 18 – “Little Shop of Horrors” (PG-13). A 1986 musical about a shy florist who raises an exotic plant that feeds on blood.

Thursday, June 25 – “Spaceballs” (PG). A 1987 film directed by Mel Brooks that parodies SF films & TV shows of the 1960s and 1970s, like Star Trek and Star Wars.

Movies start each Thursday at 6 p.m. and go till around 7:45 p.m.
