If you hear a knock on the door in the next day or two it may be the Green Lake In Motion team. The team is just wrapping up 10 weeks of visiting more than 5,000 Green Lake households to talk about travel options and how to get around the neighborhood and connect to other parts of the city by walking, biking, public transit and ride sharing.

In Motion created a map that shows the transportation options in the neighborhood and is available at local Green Lake businesses and online.

According to project coordinators, similar projects done in other neighborhoods has resulted in reductions in car travel by 5 to 15 percent.
