Starting this year, voting for Seattle City Council positions will be by district. (A result of a measure Seattle voters passed in 2013.) The Phinney Ridge Community Council and Phinney Neighborhood Association are hosting a Candidates Forum for District 6, which includes Green Lake, Phinney Ridge, Greenwood, Ballard and Fremont.

Incumbent Councilmember Mike O’Brien and challengers Catherine Weatbrook, Jon Lisbin and Stan Shaufler will answer questions on zoning, land use, development, transportation, environment, civic engagement, public safety and more.
