Green Lake Happenings June 27 – 28

This weekend is going to be hot. Like 90s hot. So we’ve included a few things to do in the sun, in the shade and in the air conditioning. Happy weekend Greenlakers!
Saturday June 27
Zoom Room, a dog training and agility gym is having an anniversary party with treats and drinks for the two and four-legged folks. A tricks contest at 4 p.m. and bobbing for hot dogs will occur throughout the party.
All proceeds from the event go to Ginger’s Pet Rescue .

Greenwood Car Show
One of the first Safari events of the summer, Greenwood Car Show will bring hundreds of vintage cars, trucks and motorcycles, classic fire trucks and hydroplanes, music food and more.
Where: Greenwood Avenue North,
from North 67th Street to North 90th Street.
When: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Sunday June 28
The Green Lake Open Swim Watch as swimmers cross the lake in a 1/2 mile or 1 mile course. Swimmers depart from the Green Lake Community Center side of the lake.
When: The half mile race begins at 9:00 a.m.
