Acting Out Literacy
This Saturday is the first of a series of Spring Story Drama class at Mockingbird Books. Acting Out Literacy will be working with students to use their voices, bodies and imaginations to visit imaginary worlds. The class runs through May and will include reading, drawing, writing and learning how to solve fictional problems in the stories read together. For more information go to their website.

Bow Wow and Books
The story time with dogs helps encourage young readers, giving them the confidence to read out loud.
When: May 15 and 29 (and reoccurring every other Sunday through the summer) from 3-4 p.m.

Potty Story Time
For once it’s okay to have a little potty talk. Preschoolers and toddlers enjoy stories, rhymes and songs about using the potty with the children’s librarian.
When: May 18 11:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
