Construction Work Along the Green Lake Path Begins this Week
Starting this Tuesday September 27, Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) will be conducting some maintenance work at the north shore of Green Lake. The work will repair the storm outfall structure before the rainy season starts.
Path traffic will be re-directed. Parents of truck-loving toddlers take note, this will be a project that will include excavators, a vactor truck and two flatbed trucks among others. So while the path will be re-directed there will be a little more entertainment for the Tot set.
The Seattle Parks Department tells us that the City will aim to get this done ASAP and should be completed by next week.
