Is Little Big Burger Coming To Green Lake?

November 12, 2017 4:15pm

We’ve been patiently waiting for Little Big Burger, a beloved Portland burger chain to open its doors in Green Lake. Back in September 2016 we posted about the anticipated expansion of the franchise to Green Lake and numerous other locations across Seattle. If you too have been patiently waiting for it’s opening, you might be disappointed. A sign on a Green Lake Village empty storefront reads “Five-Day Notice to Pay Rent or Vacate.” The notice is to LBB Green Lake, LLC c/o Chanticleer Holdings Inc. (Chanticleer Holdings is the parent company of Little Big Burger, who also owns Hooters.)

The notice, dated October 2 says: “YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that rent for the above described premises situated in King County, Washington is now due and payable in the sum of $10,592.27 for the following periods June 2017 – September 2017. … If you choose not to pay rent due within 5 days, YOU MUST VACATE AND SURRENDER THE PREMISES.”

Back in August 2017, Eater Seattle posted a story about other anticipated Little Big Burger locations including Wallingford, Capitol Hill and seven other spots. It remains to be seen if those locations too have notices on their doors.
