Aurora Avenue Through Green Lake Closed After Fatal Crash
Aurora Avenue’s north and southbound lanes remain closed this morning after an early morning fatal car crash. The crash occurred near the intersection of Winona Avenue and Aurora Avenue and involved three vehicles.
Seattle Fire Department reported that one adult male is in stable condition and was transported from the scene to Harborview by Seattle Fire Department Medics. The second patient was a fatality.
Speed is believed to be a factor. Investigators are on the scene.
Aurora Avenue is closed in both directions from Keen Way N to 75th St. Currently SDOT says that the closure could be until 11:59 p.m. tonight.
