Green Seattle Day November 3

You may have seen the little signs around Green Lake Park for Green Seattle Day. The Green Seattle Partnership and Seattle Parks and Recreation are coordinating a team of hundreds of volunteers to plant thousands of plants throughout Seattle parks.¬†While Green Lake Park isn’t one of the designated parks, there are several that are close to Green Lake, including:

  • Discovery Park
  • Golden Gardens Park
  • Magnuson Park
  • Meadowbrook Park
  • Woodland Park

Events begin at 9 a.m. at 15 park sites across Seattle. No experience is necessary. Tools, gloves, plants, coffee, snacks and instruction will be provided. Sign up to participate in a Green Seattle Day location here: https://www.greenseattle.org/get-involved/green-seattle-day/.
