Corgi Howloween
10:45 a.m.
IIIIIIIt’s that time again. Soon our favorite little short-legged dogs will be marching around Green Lake in full Halloween costume.

Here’s the itinerary according to the group’s organizer.

10:45 a.m. – We’ll “try” to do a group picture. (This is very hard with so many corgis, but we can try!) This will also give us time to see everyone’s cute costumes!

11:00 a.m. – We will start the walk. We will walk counter clockwise around the lake. If you’re running late, you can walk clockwise around the lake till you meet up with the group.

Note: **We don’t know yet when some of the 5K races around Halloween will happen, but it is usually on Sunday. We may have to change time if it conflicts with our event.**

Green Lake Craft Center. Meet near the rowing stands, 5900 West Green Lake Way N

For more information, go to the group’s Meetup page.

Pumpkin Bash at Woodland Park Zoo
9:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Pumpkins for the animals, trick-or-treating, and more are in store for little goblins and ghosts at Woodland Park Zoo’s family-friendly Pumpkin Bash. Discover a repertoire of animal behavior as hippos, bears, Malayan tigers, lemurs, and other animals crunch, smash or stomp on pumpkins! The pumpkins are part of the zoo’s animal care program to help enrich the lives of the zoo’s animals. The safe activities help encourage natural animal behavior, keep animals mentally and physically stimulated and engage zoo guests. Free with zoo admission or membership. During Pumpkin Bash, one child 12 years and under in costume is admitted into the zoo free with a paid adult.
