Calling all young artists! Join Seattle Audubon for a morning of birding and drawing. Meet at the Green Lake Library, then take a short bird walk to observe the ducks living in and around Green Lake. After the walk, you will return to the library to warm up with hot chocolate and have a lesson and activity on sketching the ducks you just spotted. This free event is designed for youth and families and will introduce the annual Washington state Junior Duck Stamp Art Contest for K-12 students. Drawing paper and basic materials will be provided; young artists are welcome to bring their own pencils or other drawing media. Space is limited, so please register HERE.

Date: Saturday, January 19

Time: 10am-1pm

Location: Green Lake Library, 7364 East Green Lake Dr. N.

Please note: Youth must be accompanied by an adult during this event.
