Green Lake Area Delivery and Takeout Options

I drove down Greenwood Ave today and lost count of the signs on the doors saying the businesses were closed because of Coronavirus. With dining in not an option for restaurants for at least the next two weeks, many businesses are switching to take out or delivery. We love Green Lake and want each business to survive this, so we have compiled a list of Green Lake and a few of the surrounding area restaurants and businesses doing takeout and delivery options. If you are in a position to support these local businesses we’d encourage you to. And, if you know of more, please add them in the comments below as we’d love to share the news with our community.
Delivery:
Champion Wine Cellars, the Greenwood wine shop, is doing free wine delivery to Seattle area residents. They are offering six packs at three different price points. Read their recent blog post to find out more about ordering.
Press Then Press the Green Lake based online cider company delivers handpicked ciders to your door and recently added a wider delivery range throughout the greater Puget Sound area. Read more about them here.
Frelard Tamales in Tangletown just launched a new delivery service – tamales to your door. Deliveries take place twice a week:
Mondays and Wednesdays between 5-9pm.
You pick your tamale flavors, pick the date and get them dropped off at your door. More info on their site here.
While not from Green Lake, Collins Family Orchard is often in the neighborhood dropping off for their seasonal CSA boxes. With all of the Seattle Farmer’s Markets closed they could really use our help. They are selling 20 pound boxes of apples with free delivery. These apples have a long shelf life. Orders must be placed by Wednesday evening for their weekly Thursday or Friday delivery. They anticipate this service to exist as long as the Farmers Markets are closed. Use this form to make your order.
